JLI Robotics Launches Grain Weevil Project

The Grain Weevil is a grain bin safety and management robot that directly engages the surface of the grain. Grain bins are dirty, dangerous workplaces. We keep that farmer with a shovel out of the bin by leveling, breaking crusts, doing inspections and feeding grain into the extraction augers. The robot impacts the quality of stored grain and the quality of farmer well-being. We are an ag robot doing the work that no farmer should. .

JLI Visits 1871 and mHUB

During a recent trip to Chicago, JLI had the opportunity to experience the shared workspaces / innovation hubs 1871 and mHUB. This was a great opportunity to collaborate and learn with some extremely innovative companies. We unveiled our updated prototype robot that uses color tracking, blue tooth phone control, and our newest version of the ARC Reactor control system. Next step: Beta Testing Production Version!

CREATE Open powered by NPPD Season in Full Swing

As the new year rolls around we are deep into the CREATE Open powered by NPPD robotics competition season. This twist on the traditional VEX competition allows students to use any platform and nearly any parts that they can find. JLI Robotics is pleased that nearly 20% of the the competitors have chosen to employ the ARC Reactor control system. After dominant performances by several of the leading ARC powered robots, teams throughout the competition are jumping on board with JLI. With five competitions left in the season, teams continue to innovate and push the limits in this “outlaw” division! Here is a great video from team C2525A:
